Gas Totalising [checksum a0aeafcf0143f1ec724ddd6bdcbc4649]

The Gas Totalising block integrates the multiple calculated flow rates into check-summed totals and remainders, maintaining very high resolution over a wide number range.

2.3 Programming and Conversions 2.3.1 Calculations Mass Flow Rate is derived from the differential pressure utilising ISO 5167 (1991, 1998 or 2003) or AGA 3:2003. Heating values are derived using ISO 6976:1995 or AGA 5:2009. Compressibility factors are calculated using SGERG88 or AGA 8:1992, with GPA 2172:2009 as an alternative for both heating value and compressibility factor. The results of the various calculations are integrated by the Gas Totalising module which generates totals for mass, gross volume, standard volume and energy. 2.3.2 Conversions SGERG_88 Generate a compressibility factor from molar gas

composition. AGA5_2009 Calculates a heating value from gas composition and base

temperature and pressure.

GPA_2172_09 Calculates both heating value and compressibility factor.

ISO5167 Calculates the mass flow rate through the differential pressure meter.

AGA3_2003 Calculates the mass flow rate through the differential pressure meter.

The system is also capable of performing the following conversions which are not covered by this approval: AGA8 GS The AGA 8 Gross Method generates a compressibility factor

and density for gases within a restricted composition range (the normal range) and with limited temperature and pressure ranges.

5/8

AGA8 DL The AGA 8 Detail Method generates a compressibility factor and density from the full molar gas composition (expanded range) over a wide range of temperature and pressure.

ISO6976 Calculates the calorific value and Wobbe Index from gas

composition. 2.3.3 Essential Characteristics Conversion is based on differential pressure developed across a restriction together with the measured gas temperature and measured gas pressures. Other legal items, such as checking of data integrity and parameter seals. Calculation of batch totals and periodic totals. 2.3.4 Security Various levels of passwords can protect parameter settings. All legal parameters are protected by the highest level password. This highest level password acts as the W&M password and the W&M switch has to be set in order to change the W&M parameters. The access to the switch is restricted by the stainless steel lid, and the lid can be secured by either an anti-tamper lead seal or self-adhesive tamper-proof seal.

Alarms and events are also logged in special files. 2.4 Housings The NÅNO211 components are all mounted in a housing (minimum IP20 rating) that is locked, to ensure cables cannot be removed or re-routed. This cabinet may also be sealed if required. 2.5 Display and Reports 2.5.1 NÅNO211 Interface The basic display shows for one meter however the system can be configured to custom displays for more meters. All the displays are Web based, the minimum browser specification is: World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) HTML 4.01 Specification, 24 December 1999 2.5.2 Reports The following reports can be produced automatically by NÅNO211-MID:-

3 MARKING 3.1 Type Plate The cabinet carries a type plate with the following information:

‘CE’ marking Supplementary metrology marking Notified body identification number Serial number Manufacturers mark or name Certificate number

3.2 SEALING The electronic parameters are protected as per section 2.3.4. These are set at initial setup/verification. The enclosure should match the specification laid out in section 2.4. 4 SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION
