CREATIVE THINKING TRAINING COURSE
A creative thinking training is a set of exercises that
are designed to:
unlock, expand and develop abilities of non-stereotypical
and innovative approaches to problem-solving.
involved intellectual operations in the creative process,
are associated with categorizing, memory, and imagination.
creativity training can become a tool to work on the
problem that interests us but it is also a tool for
personality development and discovery of new (often
locked) areas of possibilities of our cognitive and social
activity.
CREATIVE THINKING TRAINING COURSE three essential phases:
• establish good communication (skillful listening, asking questions)
1 ACCLIMATIZATIO
N AND TEAM BUILDING
• clarify mutually expectations, rules and standards that are applied to training participants

2 HEURISTIC
RULES
fixation (introduced in the first phase)
heuristic rules that are applied during a workout and problem-solving activities
collaboration in teams should be promoted.
refraining from immediate
judgment of the person or an
idea.
a criticism is allowed only in a
constructive way.
participants have to encourage each other to generate and presenting surprising and original ideas.
CREATIVE THINKING TRAINING COURSEthree essential phases:
3EMPOWERMENT
Mutually peer- and/or instructor-scaffolding training
to reinforce participants to cross the clichés of thought. In this phase a violation of
rules could appears and it is important to warn students
to be streamed with the training
CREATIVE THINKING TRAINING COURSE three essential phases:
Creativity training Day 1
improving communication
skills, motivation and
breaking locks of the participants of the each team.
non-verbal sculptures

unusual names (Indian
style)
Creativity training Day 2
Develop the capacity for mental
operations:abstraction, deductive reasoning, inductive
reasoning, making associations, and metaphorising.
crushing, repairing and
building.
such definition of

"What would happen if the shoes come to
life"
CONCLUSIONS
It can therefore be concluded that the
group of freshman students of the Faculty
of Chemical Engineering and Technology
after participating in two days creativity
training showed a more creative
possibilities than at the beginning of
classes.
CONCLUSIONS
Any action that is aimed at developing the
creative possibilities entity, and at the same
time allows interoperability in the group, it is
his actions creative in itself.
CONCLUSIONS
Developing creative abilities of future
engineers is a task that obviously and
unambiguously activates and expands
knowledge (explicit and implicit).
Although the effects of these
interactions can present themselves
after a certain time of incubation
How to unlock
students’ creativity - suggestion
s
Encourage individual and/or group problem-
solving of engineering
problems through quizzes and challenges
When appropriat
e, place less stress
on algorithms
Introduce specialised training for students in their
specific area of study
Break training into
smaller units and
introduce
relaxation.
Identify communication
problems both that of lecturers and
students, come up with, and implement
improvement strategies.
Reward innovativ
e thinkers.
Thank you for the attention
