ABOUT TMAD
• Started in 2005 by group of individuals
• Registered under AP Societies Act in 2007 (Reg# 1506/2007).
• Works on Education, Medical, Environmental, Awareness Campaigns etc.
• Makes a difference in the life of an individual or a community; from tree plantation drives and blood donation camps to supporting individuals in their need of financial aid.
• Little spend on administrative expenses. Volunteers manage projects, fund raising, treasury, website….
• Our belief is that every drop in the ocean counts. This fuels our desire to serve more.
ECO-FRIENDLY GANESHA CAMPAIGN
• Started in 2010 on no profit, no loss initiative to distribute clay (non painted idols)
• Reach to communities by mails and mouth publicity.
• Volunteers distributed the idols to different apartment complexes.
• Also, had stalls in different layouts after getting permission.

HOW ARE WE DOING IT?
• Reaching to communities/apartment complexes to get estimates.
• Order to vendor based on estimates
• Volunteers to distribute a day before to apartment complexes
• Stalls will be put up after permission from layout society.
• Working with vendor on better pricing to reach more people.
• Public is charged idol cost + transportation cost.
AREAS OF COLLABORATION
• Reaching out to more apartment complexes/societies through “United Way of Bengaluru” strong corporate network.
• Setting up stalls near the lakes which are maintained by United Way of Bengaluru.
• Reach out to volunteers in corporates who can spend a day at Eco-Friendly Ganesh Stalls (near lakes and in layouts).
• United Way of Bengaluru expert advice in planning disposal of clay brought from lakes outside city.
