Q: What’s different about the Lutron®-Lumenpulse offering? A: Lutron® EcoSystem® technology is now an embedded feature of Lumenpulse luminaires – integrated as part the lighting engine, rather than as a separate driver. Since the technology is embedded, no additional interfaces are required, making the solution more affordable and easier to specify.

In addition, the solution is available across Lumenpulse’s portfolio of LED lighting fixtures, meaning that for the first time the benefits of EcoSystem can now be applied to both indoor and outdoor lighting.

Q: Which Lumenpulse luminaires are offered with EcoSystem technology? A: Currently all Lumenline™, Lumenfacade™, and Lumenbeam™ families are available with the EcoSystem control option. Other Lumenpulse product families are planned to be EcoSystem-enabled in the second half of 2013.

Q: Are EcoSystem-enabled Lumenpulse luminaires compatible with all EcoSystem controllers and devices? A: Yes. EcoSystem-enabled Lumenpulse luminaires seamlessly integrate into the EcoSystem environment and can be used with Lutron’s complete line of wired and wireless systems and controls.

Q: What is the dimming performance of EcoSystem- enabled Lumenpulse luminaires? A: Lumenpulse luminaires with EcoSystem dim down to 1%. Fixtures can be assigned to zones, provide feedback and reporting to Lutron controls, and can be replaced as part of Lutron EcoSystem’s self-healing network, without the need for re-commissioning.

Q: Can Lutron EcoSystem control Direct/Indirect Lumenline™ as two separate light sources? A: Yes. Lutron EcoSystem-enabled Lumenline™ luminaires allow separate EcoSystem control of both the direct and indirect lighting components.

Q: Is EcoSystem control available for color-changing RGB applications with Lumenpulse products? A: No. At this time, EcoSystem control is only available for white light applications. RGB control is available via DMX with any DMX control system.

Q: Are EcoSystem-enabled Lumenpulse luminaires available for international projects? A: Yes. The EcoSystem-enabled options are available on a global basis. Consult lumenpulse.com for a complete list of international certifications of the Lumenpulse product families.
