EXPERMENT

PROBLEM: What is the comparative effect of using laundry waste, dishwashing waste and clean water on the Growth of Monggo plant?OBJECTIVE: To determine which of the given kinds of water will greatly increase the growth of Monggo plant. HYPOTHESIS:If clean water is used, then the Monggo plant will grow faster.

INDEPENDENT VARIABLE: The kind of water used. (Laundry waste water, Dishwashing waste water and clean water)

DEPENDENT VARIABLE:The height of the Monggo Plant (cm)

CONSTANT VARIABLES:The amount of sunlight, amount of water, size of the container, kind of soil, temperature, Monggo seeds.

PROCEDURE1. Get Monggo seeds and plant it on three containers of same sizes and kind of soil.2. Label the first container as A which will be using Laundry waste water, the second container as B which will be using Dishwashing waste water, and the third container as C which will be using clean water.3. Water the plant on each container twice a day having the same amount of water.4. Leave the containers.5. Check the height of the plant using a ruler every day.6. Observe the results and record the datum.

The best kind of water for mongo plant is the clean one having the highest growth based on our experiment while second to the list is the dishwashing waste water.
