How I used 180 dergee, rule of thirds and match on action

In my final piece I used the 180 degree rule very well as I did not break the rule when doing my shot reverse shot.

I used the match on action shot when shot when Billy walked through the door into the mysterious man room.

In my edit I think I used the rule for most of the film but however I think at some parts the eyes were just under the top line.

Rule of thirds used Rule of thirds could have been used better

The challenges I faced in production and post production

One of the challenges I face during the production of my film was that I had never filmed before and I don’t think that I was able to use the camera as well as I should have been able to

A problem I faced in post production was one of the clips was blurry and I didn’t have enough time to re film the clip

Another problem I faced in post production is that the transaction keep not working at times and as I had not used the software before I had no idea how to change it

Weaknesses of my piece

• The overall weaknesses of my piece is that I think there were moments in the film where it didn’t flow as well as it could have as in some of the scenes I dint not have cut aways so they just cut to the next scene I tried to cover this up with transactions but it didn’t always work

The strengths of my piece

I think the strength of my piece was the story line and my flashback idea and how I showed the flash backs with the transactions when the screened flashed

Improvements I could have made

• I think that I could have improved my film by maybe re filming some of the scenes and making the scenes flow more into one another as the film is a little bit jumpy at some points of it
