For each promo license purchased (Visual Studio Professional with MSDN or Visual Studio

Premium with MSDN), the customer must have one of the following licenses purchased either in

the retail channel or through VL:

Visual Studio 2010 Professional

MSDN subscriptions that expired prior to July 1, 2011:
