Josephinum TechnologyJosephinum TechnologyBeginning this year, all Josephinum students willhave their own netbook computer for school use andat home.
Additionally, Josephinum has two computer labs.Students take Digital Citizenship courses, whichenables them to not only use their creativity andlearn new skills in the world of technology but also
how to use technology appropriately and safely.
Students are exposed to the responsibilities ofrespecting the rights of other creators and howto protect their own work. In addition to DigitalCitizenship, students have an opportunity to learnPhotoshop, build their own websites, and createblogs and videos.
The Josephinum community stays connected throughthe internet even when school is not in session.
Students, parents, and administrators are able totrack students grades, homework, and test schedulesfrom anywhere online.

I like all-girls education because withoutthe distractions of boys, you really see
your peers for who they are. We can builda stronger sisterhood in a open enviroment
where we all feel comfortable to learn.

Summer Service Trips with theSacred Heart NetworkJosephinum students have the opportunity to participate in Sacred Heart Summer Service Projects acrossthe country. This year, Josephinum girls t raveled to places like San Francisco and Washington, D.C. workingon projects dealing with immigration reform, feeding the poor, and protecting the environment.
Last summer I went toSprout Creek Farm in
Poughkeepsie, NY for theirEnvironmental Awareness Program.
I learned that I should open myeyes to the bigger picture.

Parents CornerParents CornerOur PromiseInvesting in your childs education can be one of the most difficult decisions you willmake as a parent. We at Josephinum want to make sure that your child succeeds inbecoming the best woman she can be. Please call us if you have any questions orconcerns about enrolling or the steps to obtain a great education for your child.
CostsJosephinums cost of education per student is over $11,000 per year; however, our
families pay an average of $200 per month. We do our best to make Josephinumas affordable as possible. Tuition for the 2011-2012 school year is $4,500 withapplicable fees. Thanks to the support of our generous alums and donors, eachstudent receives an instant discount of over $6,000 each year.
Financial AssistanceOver 90% of the student body at Josephinum Academy receives scholarships orFinancial Assistance. Josephinum is proud to keep great education affordable for allfamilies. Please check out the scholarships at right to see if one fits you!
* In order to protect students individual eligibility, schools of the Archdiocese of Chicago support the

HighSight Scholarship
HighSight awards partial, 4-year scholarshipsfor 8th graders to attend private high schools inChicago. HighSight also provides academic andsocial support to prepare its students to enroll incollege. To qualify for a HighSight scholarship, astudent must:
Be a current 8th grader and live in Chicago Live in a household that exhibitsfinancial
need: income under $45,000 for a family of four Take the entrance exam and be accepted to
