Unlike traditional cell culture methods, T-flasks, roller bottles, and two compartment bioreactors, CellMax® Hollow Fibre Bioreactors provide a three dimensional space for in vitro cell culture. Hollow fibres are tubular ��"�#�� $�� &�''��and around the large surface area provided by the network of hollow fibres. When perfused with culture media, the hollow fibres allow oxygen and nutrients to be supplied to the cells while metabolic waste products are eliminated.
