Changing your profile.

Click your name on the left.

Enter a short description about yourself.

Click the settings page to change your picture.

Also, you can change your password in the settings page.

You can also update your privacy settings.

Click “Create” to form your new class.

Fill out the profile information about your class.

Your students will enter this access code to join your group.

Your class is ready and it is now time for students to join Edmodo.

Have you students go to www.edmodo.com

Click “Iʼm a Student”

Students should fill out the information listed to the right.

The “Group Code” will give your students access to your class.

In the status bar you can send out notes, alerts, assignments, quizzes, and polls to your students. Also, you can attach a file for your students or add a link for students to visit.

You can schedule when you want the note, alert, assignment, quiz, or poll to go out to students.

You can send out your message to multiple classes at the same time.

Click “Quiz” then you will be given the choice to create a quiz or to load a previously create quiz.

Name your quiz. Next select the question type then “Add First Question.”

Type in your question.

Click to “Assign Quiz”

Edit your information

Storing Items in the Folder:

Click the “Books” to go to the “Library.”

Click “new” to create a folder.

Select which classes you want to see the folder.

To upload a document click “Add to Library.”

Select whether you want to upload a file or link. e.g. click “upload”

Select file and click “choose.”

Click “Add”

Click on the “file” then select which folder(s) you want to place the file.

Creating an Assignment:

Click the “assignment tab” then give the assignment a name, a description, a due date, and any file or link that you want to attach. Click which class you want to send it too.

Turning in an Assignment (iPad):

We will use “Pages” for this example.

Click and open up Pages.

Students will click “Share and Print”

Open in Another App

Select the format

Choose the “App”

Select “Edmodo”

Click “OK”

Student will go to the “Home” screen and click “Turn In.”

Click “Backpack”

Select File

Click “Turn In Assignment”
