The Study Study will take place over the

course of two units (approximately 1 month)

The first unit students will complete all textbook based homework and then take the unit exam

The second unit students will complete all technology based homework and then take the unit exam

The Study Scores will be compared

from the two exams to see if students perform better in one unit than the other

All participants will be anonymous

Students will complete a survey illustrating their thoughts about the different types of assignments and the effect the difference had on their grades

Reason for the Study Other studies have been conducted on

web-based homework v. traditional based homework to see if it impacts student performance

However, those studies have been inconclusive
