For this assignment, you are to build upon your prior written assignments and look at the outcomes that are expected from the proposed program evaluation logic model. Place yourself in the role of a workplace educator who is proposing a program evaluation to the leadership team of your organization to implement some innovative way to accomplish a task or fix a problem. Refer to the Logic Model Development Program Implementation Template found in the appendix of the Kellogg Foundation Logic Model Development Guide as an example. Using Microsoft Word, you will create a portion of a logic model that details the expected outcomes. In keeping with the example for Week One, some possible outcomes would include: students will find it easier to complete the registration process, students will see acceptance results within some specified timeframe, etc. You will need to provide a minimum of four outcomes in a table format. Below the table, you are to provide a narrative that further details and explains on the outcomes. Note that you will use this week’s assignment as part of your Final Paper.

Outcomes

This week, you will build on your Program Evaluation Proposal due in Week Six, by creating the Outcomes portion of the logic model.  For this assignment, you are to build upon your prior written assignments and look at the outcomes that are expected from the proposed program evaluation logic model.

Stakeholder Input into Hiring Decision

What is the difference between process, out-come and impact evaluations?A process evaluation looks at the actual development and implementation of a particular pro-gram. It establishes whether you’ve hit quantifiable targets and implemented strategies as planned. It’s typically done at the end of the project and it looks at the program from start to fin-ish, assessing cause-and-effect relationships between the program components and outcomes. This type of evaluation can be very useful in determining whether a program should be contin-ued, expanded upon, refined or eliminated.While they can be done separately, outcome and impact evaluations are also important additions to a process evaluation. Outcome evaluation measures the change that has occurred as a result of a program. For example, your process evaluation might confirm that 200 people have completed your skills-training program. An outcome evaluation would tell you how many of those demon-strated increased confidence, changed behaviors, found jobs because of the new skills, etc (Non-Profit Answer Guide ,2015),

The logic model is often used in government or not-for-profit organizations, where the mission and vision are not aimed at achieving a financial benefit. In such situations, where profit is not the intended result, it may be difficult to monitor progress toward outcomes. A program logic model provides such indicators, in terms of output and outcome measures of performance. It is therefore important in these organizations to carefully specify the desired results, and consider how to monitor them over time. Often, such as in education or social programs, the outcomes are long-term and mission success is far in the future. In these cases, intermediate or shorter-term outcomes may be identified that provide an indication of progress toward the ultimate long-term outcome (Wikipedia, 2015)
