  • ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION Pavilion The Pavilion offers secondary education to young people within the northern metropolitan region of Melbourne who are disengaged or have been excluded from mainstream education. They aim to re-engage young people through relevant, individualised and tailored education programs.

    Student Criteria: • Aged 12 – 20 • Disengaged from mainstream education • Willing to engage in Pavilion’s flexible learning model • Wanting to work towards agreed educational goals.

    Youth Unit – Melbourne Polytechnic The Youth Unit at Melbourne Polytechnic offer programs and courses for young people needing further career direction including VCAL, Pre-apprenticeships and Certificate courses.

    Diamond Valley Learning Centre – Greensborough (DVLC) A learning hub delivering relevant content to young people in smaller classes to cater to individual learning needs.     E-Focus E-focus is a community based organisation who offer a range of services and delivers nationally recognised training with the aim to alleviate disadvantage and to enrich the lives of individuals.

    Return to Education & Vocation Program (REV) REV is a program available to young people who are disengaged or who are at risk of being excluded from mainstream schooling. The eight week part time program aims to assist young people develop pathways into education or employment. REV is available to young people between 14 and 17 who are clients of the Austin Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). Referrals via CAMHS case manager.
