Thank you for considering Mugga-Mugga Education centre for your upcoming workshop, conference or event. Mugga-Mugga was established in the early 1800’s as part of Duntroon Estate and captures part of the region’s early history. It was originally built for the head shepherd of the Estate and this simple cottage stands as a testament to the workers who made their lives on the pastoral properties of the limestone plains. Today Mugga-Mugga offers a stunning rural setting in the centre of Canberra and it is preserved as it was in the time of the Curley family who made it their home. The Education Centre is a large, light filled and versatile room, with a large verandah around the building which offers not only spectacular views, but also an additional external space for your event. All cars need to be parked in the allocated parking area, adjacent to the Education Centre.

The horses are privately owned and it is the request of the owner that you please do not interact with or feed the horses (but they are beautiful to watch from afar). Any injury to the horses will be at the liability of the hirer.
