Titles are presented of reports, books, journal articles, and articles in books which deal with empirical research in education in Ireland and which were written between 1960 and 1980. There are 148 titles in the bibliography. Titles are presented in alphabetical order. There is also a subject index.

This bibliography is made up of reports, books, journal articles, and articles in books which deal with empirical research in education in Ireland which were written between 1960 and 1980. It does not include historical or philosophical studies or general descriptions of the organization of the educational system. In compiling the bibliography over 400 reports were located. Nearly 65 of these were unpublished graduate students' thesis, which are not included in this selection.
