This course focuses on the translation of Japanese into English. The content covers a variety of media and includes business and technical articles, works of classical and modern literature, and even manga and anime. Students will be given regular assignments to work on in their own time and deliver by e-mail for discussion in class.授業の計画：
This is a practical course so students are required to translate pieces in class for comment and correction, while also completing short assignments in their own time (once every two or three weeks). The materials used are varied and not announced beforehand.

Important: This is the first part of a two-part course (English for Studying Abroad I & II). Students can take one course or both courses, but they should keep in mind that though some of the general skills and themes are similar, the topics will be different. These are two distinct courses meant to develop a variety of academic skills that can only be improved through repeated practice and experience.
This course is intended to improve student confidence and ability in combining their reading, speaking, writing and listening skills for use in foreign - particularly U.S.- academic environments. (This is what the TOEFL test refers to as the "integrated task".)
Also, students will be required to engage and interact with the instructor and fellow classmates on a regular basis. They will need to question, comment, suggest, support and play an active role in the class activities. This is not a lecture course where students can be passive attendees. All students should expect to be active learners and participants.

英語経済・金融（Ⅰ） 1 単位（春学期）経済英語を語るための定型表現をおさえる

授業科目の内容：
経済ニュースを理解し、語るのに必要な英語のキーワードをおよそ
140項目選び出した上、それぞれにつき意味と使い方がつかめるよう
に編集してある用例を通じて勉強していきます。毎回の授業内容は、
（初回を除き）冒頭で復習テスト、およそ10項目の用語用例解説、用
語の理解を深めるための英文経済記事その他専門書からの抜粋を使
っての演習の３つが柱となります。
授業の計画：1 「経済成長」を語るのに必要な用語を見てから、その種の用語が
使われている英文資料を使い、翻訳などの演習を進めます。
2 前回の「経済成長」関連の用語につき復習テストを行ないます。
次いで、「景気」を語るのに必要な用語を見てから、その種の用
語が使われている英文資料を使い、翻訳などの演習を進めます。
3 前回の「景気」関連の用語につき復習テストを行ないます。次
いで、「景気対策」を語るのに必要な用語を見てから、その種の

とが成績評価の前提ですが就活等による遅刻・欠席には配慮します。

につき意味と使い方がつかめるように編集してある用例を通じて勉
強していきます。進め方は、毎回の授業で15-20 パターンずつ解説し
ていき、次の回でその部分を穴埋め問題でテストしていくというも
のですが、単調にならないよう、学んだ用語用例が使われている英
文資料を使っての翻訳などの演習を織り込んで行きます。

味と使い方がつかめるようにまとめてある教科書で勉強していきま
す。進め方は、毎回の授業で大体15パターンずつ解説していき、次
の回にそれを穴埋め問題でテストしていくというものです。単調と
ならないよう、会社の英文定款の翻訳などを織り込んでいきます。

味と使い方がつかめるようにまとめてある教科書を通じて勉強して
いきます。契約書特有の言い回しをほぼ網羅していますので、独特
の用語に惑わされないで済むようになります。進め方は、毎回の授
業で15-20パターンずつ解説していき、次の回に穴埋め問題でテスト
するというものです。単調にならないよう、英文契約書の和訳や和
文契約書の英訳をする演習を適宜織り込んでいきます。
授業の計画：1 契約の種類を語る上で頻出する定型表現を見てから、実際の契
約書をはじめとする法律文書でこうした言葉がどう使われるか
を確認して行きます。

Important: This is the first part of a two-part course. Some of the general themes (personal preferences, experiences, listening-reading integration, etc.) will be the same but the actual topics of the presentations will differ. Students can take one course or both, but they should keep in mind that Oral Presentation II is intended to build on what is started in Oral Presentation I.
Students will learn and practice specific methods and techniques for giving presentations on various topics in English. The focus in Oral Presentation (I) will be on mastering the basic components of a speech: writing outlines, introducing topics, developing and supporting topics, and concluding a speech. Students will also be given ample time to practice appropriate posture, eye-contact, and voice intonation and pace.
Students should keep in mind that most oral presentations are brief and that the speaker is given very little time to prepare. For this reason, this class will focus on short presentations with minimum preparation time. 授業科目の内容：
この授業では、ドイツ映画を何本か取り上げ、その作品と関連する
様々な種類のテクスト（作品に対する評論や解説、監督や俳優に対
するインタビュー、作品中で言及された著作、原作や脚本など）を
精読します。それによって、ドイツ語の文章を正確に読む力を養う
とともに、ドイツ語で話したり書いたりする際に必要となる表現や
語彙も身につけることを目指します。
また、授業中に読んだテクストのうち、いくつかについては「翻訳」
も試みます。（語学の授業で一般的に行っている「独訳和訳」は、前
後関係などをあまり考慮せずに、文法的な約束事を最優先する作業
ですから、「翻訳」とは別物であると考えた方がよいでしょう。）ド
イツ語の原文を正確に理解したうえで、その内容を、日本語として
なるべく自然で分かりやすい文章で、それぞれの状況に応じて表現
するためにはどうすればよいのか、という課題についても一緒に検
討したいと思います。授業中に検討したことをふまえて、春学期と
秋学期のそれぞれ一回ずつ、レポートを提出していただく予定です。

ロシア語聴解（Ⅰ） 1 単位（春学期）映画やアニメでロシア語

授業科目の内容：
ロシア・アニメーション、映画を使ってロシア語文法をよりしっ
かりと習得するとともに、聞き取り能力を高めるための授業です。
履修生の文法習得度にあわせるため、各人がPCを用い、個別に用意
されたプリントを使った聞き取りを行なってもらいます。
授業は毎回聞き取りから始め、比較的難解な文法については解説
します。まずは登場人物たちのセリフを暗記しつつ、ロシア語の構
造的な理解を深めていきましょう。またパソコンでロシア語を扱う
ことも授業内で取り上げます。そして最終的にはその文法事項の発
展練習としてセリフの自分の言葉による言いかえや受講者間で映像
シーンについての質疑応答等をしていけたらと思います。
題材に関しては、希望や語学力によっては変更することもありえ

授業科目の内容：
現在、ロシアでは日本文化が非常に注目され、日本ブームと言っ
ても過言ではありません。モスクワでは「ヤキトリヤ」という日本
食レストランや日本のうどんチェーン店もあるほどです。村上春樹
の小説にとどまらず、若者のあいだではマンガやアニメも人気があ
ります。また品質の良さから、日本の電化製品や化粧品、食料品に
も人気が集まっています。ロシアでは「日本」が流行のキーワード
なのです。
さらに、右肩上がりの経済成長を続けるロシアを大きな市場とみ
なし、日本の様々な業界がロシアに進出し始めています。例えば、
自動車メーカーや製薬会社の工場は既に稼動しています。逆に、ロ
シア人の来日者数も増え、今後ロシア語は益々必要とされるでしょ
う。
ロシアは将来の可能性を秘めた国であり、ロシア語を学ぶことは学
生の皆さんにとって大きな可能性を開くチャンスとなるでしょう。
この授業では、ロシア語を初めて学ぶ学生を対象とし、ロシア語
の文字に慣れ、基本的な文法事項と単語を繰り返し学び、基礎文法

の習得、さらに希望者のロシア語検定試験4級の取得を目指します。
日常の挨拶や慣用的なフレーズも学び、簡単な会話ができるように

授業科目の内容：
中国語の簡単な日常会話が不自由なくできる会話力並びに新聞記事
や随筆などを読むことができる語彙力と読解力を有する学生を対象
とする。本授業は、現代中国の社会問題、歴史問題、政治問題、文
化現象などを取り扱った新聞記事、随筆などを教材とする。
春学期は、まず、音声を繰り返しリスニングしたあと、教材の内容
についての質疑応答をおこなう。次に、教材プリントを配布し、語
彙、文法、内容などについて確認する。

この講義は中国語の文章の読解と日本語の文章を中国語に翻訳す
ることを通して、中国語の作文力を身につけることを目標にしてい

毎回出席は採る。また、ほぼ毎回あるいは二回に一回程度小テスト
を授業の初めに行う。これに加えて中間と期末試験を行う。成績は、
これらすべてを合計して、100%に換算し、60%以上を合格、59%以
下を不合格とする。以下は、割合の目安である。なお個別の学生の
最終成績に関する質問は、大学事務局を通じた問い合わせ以外には
答えない。

高殿良博『初めて学ぶインドネシア語』、語研、1996、上下２冊（基
本的にコピーした教科書を最初の授業時に配布するので購入する必
要はない。）

ている。

語学学習の基本は毎回の積み重ねです。一回欠席すると、次回から
授業についてゆくのが困難になり、結局不合格になります。そうな
っても担当者は責任を持ちません。したがって毎回きちんと出席し
てください。

授業科目の内容：
Lo scopo del corso è imparare a poco a poco e praticamente a comporre testi descrittivi, all'inizio brevi e poi via via più complessi.Utilizzando lessico e strutture sintattiche studiate in precedenza, lo studente imparerà a descrivere con proprietà, coerenza ed efficacia, esperienze del proprio vissuto quotidiano, ad accrescere il vocabolario e ad elevare il registro stilistico. Alla fine del corso lo studente potrà esprimere le proprie esperienze in modo espressivo e anche scrivere testi richiesti nelle prove di certificazione linguistica.日常の簡単な内容の短い文章から始めて、より複雑な内容の文章を
構成する力を身につけます。文学作品を含めたイタリア人の文章に
触れることにより語彙を増やすとともに、イタリア語らしい文体を
習得することを目指します。教材には、イタリア語検定試験の問題
も用います。できるかぎり、秋学期も継続して受講して下さい。
授業の計画：1 Il testo descrittivo: presentazione.2 Come scrivere breve testo descrittivo: 5-8 righe (email, post su
facebook ecc.).3 Lettura e comprensione di un semplice testo descrittivo-espressivo
della letteratura italiana. Individuazione delle tecniche per rendere un testo espressivo.
4 Come si crea un testo descrittivo: dall'idea al progetto (la scaletta). Prima stesura di un breve testo descrittivo. Analisi dei testi, correzione e proposte di miglioramento.
5 Prova: come comporre il "tuo" testo descrittivo.6 Scegliere una traccia, discutere la scaletta e spiegarla. Scrivere la
scaletta.7 Scrivere le parti del testo e assemblarle. Le "formule di passaggio"
per raccordare le diverse parti del testo.8 I testi delle prove di certificazione: domande per borse di studio, CV,
domanda per homestay ecc.9 Test intermedio10 Traccia descrittiva: descrizione espressiva di un oggetto, di una
persona. Scrivere, correggere, allungare un testo.11 Scrivere testi regolativi.12 Descrivere le proprie esperienze (diario) attraverso l'utilizzo delle

Lo scopo del corso è imparare poco a poco e praticamente a comporre testi argomentativi, all'inizio semplici e poi via via più complessi. Ampliando il lessico, approfondendo le strutture sintattiche ed elevando il registro stilistico lo studente sarà in grado di sostenere con proprietà, coerenza ed efficacia le proprie opinioni su temi legati alle sue esperienze e al suo vissuto quotidiano. Alla fine del corso lo studente padroneggerà le tecniche base della scrittura argomentativa. Nel programma saranno anche inseriti esempi di testi richiesti nelle prove di certificazione linguistica.春学期から継続する内容ですが、秋学期のみの受講も可能です。概

6 Prima traccia:correzione della prima stesura e indicazioni per la stesura definitiva.
