In this guide, we are going to show you how to print and save a report in EERS.
You will use this function if you wish to retain a copy of your report outside of the system.

Once you have logged into EERS, you will see your home page. Your home page provides the entry point to the reporting pages.
Click on the highlighted button to enter the reporting page for the current reporting period.

Next, you will see the Reporting Entity Information page.
This is where you will manage your corporate structure and enter data relating to your emissions and energy consumption and production. Once data entry is complete, you will need to generate a report.
This process starts by clicking on the Reports tab to enter the reports page.

This is where you will generate reports prior to submitting them to the Clean Energy Regulator. The type of available reports will depend on what type of reporting entity you are.
In this example, you are a controlling corporation that will be submitting a section 19 report that is due by 31 October. The first step is to generate the report.
Click on the highlighted Generate button to generate the report.

Once a report has been generated, it is available for viewing onscreen.
Click on the highlighted S19 – Energy & emissions report (Click to review) link to view the generated report.

The report will be displayed on screen. As you scroll through your report, you will see the data that you previously entered into EERS.
You can print a copy of the report for your own records or to share amongst members of your organisation.
You will print your report by clicking on the Print button.

From the print window you can select a physical printer to print a hard copy of your report.
If you want to save an electronic copy outside of EERS, for example to email a copy of the report to someone else within your organisation, choose a software printer such as Adobe Acrobat (to create PDF files) or Microsoft XPS. Other third party software printers may be installed that perform a similar function. Some systems may have a separate button to create PDF documents.
In this example, Microsoft XPS has been selected.
We commence the process by clicking on the Print button.
NOTE: A printed report is for your own use only. It cannot be submitted to the Clean Energy Regulator.
GPO Box 621 Canberra ACT 2601 1300 553 542 [email protected] www.cleanenergyregulator.gov.au 9
If you selected a software printer, a second window will appear where you will give your report a name and select a save location. (If you printed to a physical printer, this window will not appear).
Clicking on the highlighted Save button will print your report to file.
GPO Box 621 Canberra ACT 2601 1300 553 542 [email protected] www.cleanenergyregulator.gov.au 10
Once your report has been printed, the print window will disappear and you will be able to continue to use EERS.
REMEMBER: A printed report is for your own use only. It cannot be submitted to the Clean Energy Regulator.
That concludes this guide on how to print a report in EERS.
