*MerCruiser offers a variety of easy water drain strategies depending upon application, design and in somecases by boat model. The Alpha drain systems typically involve turning a handle or removing quick-connecthoses to drain. The Bravo/Inboard water drain systems are also found on most closed-cooled models andare activated by pressurized air. Some OEM customers request these systems be removed.
