Egg Crate Grilles (ECG) are used as return and exhaust air devices in both domestic and industrial

application for conditioned space.

Large free area covered by these type of grilles are capable of transferring high air volume at minimum

pressure loss and noise level.

The flow of ambient air can be enhanced while returning it to the handling units.

These are installed in domestic and commercial areas where recirculation/ventilation of conditioned air is a priority.

ECGs are modeled according to the desired type of air guidance and noise attenuation, as per the designer’s

preference and necessity due to building constructions. The attractive look creates decorative mood.

It is applicable in low pressure areas where smoother airflow needs to be achieved.

Egg Crate Core

The front face of grille is assembled with narrow aluminum sections of uniformly allocated square crate modules. The grille core

/ grid allows maximum free area of up to 90%.

The frame is made of extruded aluminium profile of 30mm flange width and 27mm depth. The egg crate core is made of

aluminium strips of 0.50mm thickness, assembled together to form equal square sections of 12.5mm x 12.5mm x 12.5mm as

a standard and 25mm x 25mm x 12.5mm as an option.

The frames are from heavy gauge, stream lined extruded aluminum alloy to resist corrosion.

Frame flanges are with standard width and are assembled in a manner to ensure quiet operation and to avoid any rattling noise.

Rigid corner fasteners assure rigid construction of the product.

All models can be sealed with optional foam gasket around the back of the frame to block any air leakage and prevent the walls

from smudging.

The available finished product comes, with concealed fixing on walls as standard item. An option with visible screw fixing on

ceiling is available upon request.

The frames and grids are coated with polyester powder coating for an outstanding finish.

Registers are supplied with extruded aluminium alloy Opposed Blade Damper (OBD) of mill finish to control the air flow rate

through the device. OBD can be accessed / operated from the face of the register by means of a screw driver. Black powder

coated OBD’s are available as option.
