Egg paniyaram
Egg paniyaram is a tasty paniyaram made with egg and idly flour. Eggs are one of nature's most nutritious foods. One
large egg contains only 70 calories and an incredible amount of nutrition. Eggs are a source of High Quality Protein.
Best lunch box idea for kids.
Ingredients:
2 cups Idly flour
2 nos Egg
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 tbsp Coriander leaves (chopped finely)
1 tbsp Mint leaves (chopped finely)
1 pinch Turmeric powder
Salt as per taste

Preparation method :
Take a wide bowl, add eggs and beat it nicely. Add chopped coriander leaves, mint leaves, a pinch turmeric
powder, cumin seeds and required salt; Mix well.

Finally add idly flour and mix everything well together. Now paniyaram mix is ready.2.
Heat paniyaram pan. Put 2 to 3 drops of oil in each hole; fill each hole with the batter and drizzle few drops of oil
on the top. After 2 3 minutes, flip over to cook the other sides. Once both sides turn golden brown, switch off
and serve hot with ketchup.

Whole wheat grain paniyaram
Paniyaram is one of my favorite items. Trying varieties of paniyaram is a joy to me and also if you find a way to make
your favorite item healthy then it is a double delight. I have already tried spinach paniyaram, egg paniyaram, oats kara
paniyaram and now I tried paniyaram with whole wheat grain. It tasted awesome and irresistible.
Ingredients:
2 cups Whole wheat grain idly batter
1 no Onion (chopped finely)
1 or 2 Green chili (chopped finely)
1/4 inch ginger (chopped finely)
1 tsp Cumin seeds
4 nos Curry leaves (chopped finely)
1 tbsp Coriander leaves
1 pinch Asafoetida
Salt as needed

3/4 cup Instant oats
1/4 cup Red gram/ thuvaram paruppu/ toor dhal
1/4 cup Bengal gram/kadalai paruppu/ channa dhal
1 tbsp whole black gram/ ulunthu/ urad dhal
1 tbsp Split green gram/ paasi paruppu/ Moong dhal
1 no - Onion (chopped fine)
1/4 inch - Ginger
5 or 6 nos Dry red Chillies
1 tsp - Fennel seeds
1 tbsp - Curry leaves (chopped finely)
1 tbsp - Coriander leaves (chopped finely)
2 pinches Asafoetida
Salt to taste

Preparation method :
Wash and soak lentils together for a minimum of 3 hours. Grind it in to a coarse paste and set aside.1.
Dry grind oats, dry red chillies, fennel seeds and ginger to a fine powder, set aside.2.
Take a wide bowl, add oats powder, lentil paste, onion, curry and coriander leaves, salt, asafoetida and mix well.Add required water and let it be in a pouring consistency.
3.
Heat kuzhi paniyaram pan. Put 2-3 drops of oil in each hole; fill each hole with the batter and drizzle a drop of oil
on top. After 2-3 minutes, flip over to cook the other side. Once both sides turn golden brown, switch off and
serve hot with any spicy chutney.
