EKK0030
The compact sanding controller EKK0030 is a multifunctional and universal controller for solenoid operated NOWE sanding devices (ECON/N45).This compact controller is used to simplify the sanding system integration into the vehicle control system. It can be used for conventional as well as for speed dependent systems. On the one hand this is realised by bundling and standartization the interfaces to the train. On the other hand by integration of control functions (e.g. PWM generation, blow after function,
interpretation of sand flow diagnoses SDS, error monitoring and so on.) wich do not longer have to be realised on vehicle side.The compact controller is build with a FPGA (Field programmable gate array), -NO SOFTWARE IS USED- so the proof of safety is much easier.
