SectionsRight-click on a slide to add sections. Sections can help to organize your slides or facilitate collaboration between multiple authors.

NotesUse the Notes section for delivery notes or to provide additional details for the audience. View these notes in Presentation View during your presentation. Keep in mind the font size (important for accessibility, visibility, videotaping, and online production)

Coordinated colors Pay particular attention to the graphs, charts, and text boxes. Consider that attendees will print in black and white or grayscale. Run a test print to make sure your colors work when printed in pure black and white and grayscale.

Graphics, tables, and graphsKeep it simple: If possible, use consistent, non-distracting styles and colors.Label all graphs and tables.

Electro-Kinetic Road Ramp Free energyGreen energyDrive over the 'Electro-Kinetic Road Ramp' and generate speed bump electricity! What is the project about? When vehicles pass onto a flexible ramp, the weight that the vehicle exerts on it will trigger a special designed mechanism, which is connected to an electricity generator. The weight will then be passed along to set of cog in motion through a transmission system with cam and gears, and finally rotates the rotor of the generator to create electricity. The energy will either be stored in a battery or available for immediate consumption.

Electro-Kinetic Road Ramp

Goal of this ProjectNot only replays the role of regular speed breaker but also generates electricity. The weight of moving vehicles can be utilized. The device is designed to have minimum discomfort on the drivers and passengers. The electricity generated can be used for street and traffic lighting.

AC Generators are mostly Maintenance free, no brushes.2) Transmission easy, easily step up & step down3)Size of the Generator comparatively smaller than Dc machine4) Generator cooling is easy with Hydrogen because of brushless no sparking.5) Losses are comparatively less than DC machine6)Ac Generator are silent operator compare with Dc Generator.7)Dc Generators are expensive.

Maruthi AlternatorAnalternatoris anelectromechanical devicethat converts mechanical energy to electrical energy in the form ofalternating currentInitially it draws current from the batteryWhen rotation reaches rated it generate 12 v acIt consists of a bridge rectifier and voltage regulator Charging of battery startsRegulator is used for making the output voltage constant by controlling the field current

The brushes in an alternator carry only excitation currentThree-phasewinding is used to provide direct current with low rippleThe field windings are initially supplied power from the battery

Bridge rectifier

Consists of 6 diodesConverts 3 phase ac to dcIt is polarity sensitiveBattery

12V, 9Ah Maintenance freeGood for rapid charging and discharging

ADVANTAGESThis is a cheaper means of power generation.Space requirement is very less. This system does not depend on any climatic changes like rain for hydel power generationAs this system does not use any fuel this is a non polluting system.User friendly system.

Conclusion This road ramp system is a desirable choice for power harvesting. This device can be installed in traffic zones where vehicles are required to reduce speed. The system can transfer the kinetic energy of the car which originally would have been wasted, to electric energy. But we found some problems after doing and testing this device. If we rectify that too, this project will become a great success.
