The Gospel Challenge: The Gospel of Matthew – Chapters 22 through 28
This week we begin the 4th week of our Gospel Challenge and we continue to journey with Jesus through the Gospel of Matthew. Below are reflection questions you can think and pray about as you read just one-chapter day. Allow the Lord to speak to you through His Word. If a word or gospel passage touches your heart, then pray with that. What is the Lord saying to you this week?
Matthew Chapter 22 Question: How can you live “The Greatest Commandment” in a more faithful manner? Matthew Chapter 23 Question: Once again in this chap-ter Jesus calls us to be humble servants of each other. How does this make you feel? How can leaders of the Church follow this command? Why is it easier to see the faults of others rather than our own? Matthew Chapter 24 Question: In this chapter Jesus talks about the end times. How can you prepare? Matthew Chapter 25 Question: The parable of the ten virgins and the bridegroom is about preparation. How can you prepare for the coming of the Lord? As you read the famous parable of the last judgement what is Jesus asking you to do that are not doing now? Matthew Chapter 26 Question: The passion of Jesus begins. As you read this chapter place yourself at the Last Supper and in the Garden of Gethsemane with Jesus and the apostles. How do you feel when Jesus is betrayed and arrested? How have you denied the Lord like Peter? Matthew Chapter 27 Question: At the trial, Pilate wanted to appease the crowd. Have you ever done that? Place yourself at the crucifixion and follow Jesus as he carries the cross. Do you see his pain and agony? Place yourself with the sorrowful Blessed Mother as she sees her son die such a death. Give your sorrows to the Blessed Mother and grieve with her. Matthew Chapter 28 Question: The angels say to Mary, and to you: “do not be afraid.” Remember, you are a missionary disciple. How can you follow the command of Jesus at the end of the gospel and “make disciples?”
God Bless you and your family, Father Vince
¿Alguna vez has hecho eso?
Dios te bendiga a ti y a tu familia, Padre Vicente

Welcome PK3 and PK4!
We were so excited to have our Preschool students join us on 9/10. All classes are getting into their routines and the children are so excited about learning and making new friends. We have a few PK3 and PK4 spots open and welcome new families to join
our school!
We welcomed several new teachers this school year. Each brings a love for teaching in Catholic schools and much experience. Over the coming weeks, we will share some
information about them with you.
Mrs. Lindsay Comisky–Gr. 4
Mrs. Comisky holds a BA in elementary education and sociology from Rowan University and has over 10 years
Catholic school teaching experience. She is excited to teach her students something new each day and how to
apply it to life experiences. Mrs. Comisky will show her students how to use math facts in many different ways,
sharpen reading and writing skills and learn new vocabulary words. Hands-on science activities will make
learning science fun and exciting in Mrs. Comisky’s classroom. She believes her classroom is a community where students learn and grow. Mrs. Comisky enjoys spending time with her family and two cats as well as
