• Érase una vez un Rey muy jovencito, Buby I. Una noche mientras cenaba se le movió un diente (de repente).

• There was once a King very youngster, Buby the first. One night while he was having dinner a tooth moved him (suddenly)

• Consultaron a los doctores del equipo médico real, (cinco en total). Decidieron con rapidez el diente extraer.

• They consulted the doctors of the medical royal equipment, (five in total). They decided quickly the tooth to extract.

• La reina Crisabel, su madre, propuso ponerlo bajo la almohada y escribir una carta al ratón Pérez. “Así lo manda la tradición”.

• Querido Señor Pérez: Quiero conocerlo, tengo muchas de verle.

• Buby pidió poder acompañarle y Pérez usó su magia para transformarle de niño a ratoncete en un periquete. Salieron de palacio por las alcantarillas.

• Buby asked to be able to accompany him and Perez used his magic to transform him of child to mouse in a tick. They went out of Palace for the sewers.

• Llegaron a un sótano en la calle del Arenal, lleno de quesos y jamones, bombones y caramelos, con la casa de los Pérez en una caja de galletas. Una casa pequeña por fuera y muy grande por dentro.

• They came to a basement in the street Arenal, there were a lot of cheeses and hams, chocolates and candies, and the house of the Perez in a box of cookies. A small house outside and very big inside..

• Allí esperaba la familia del ratón: Adelaida y Elvira, sus hermanas y su madre Dña. Concha. Tomaron café y estuvieron un ratito hablando.

• Salieron del sótano por el desagüe. Tenían cinco dientes que recoger. Primero el de un niño, Gilito, que vivía en la calle Mayor; tenían que subir al último piso.

• Gilito abrió los ojos por el ruido justo en el momento en que Buby se despertaba con un beso de la reina Crisabel. Un beso de madre, dulce como la miel.
