A ticle I. PU"po~e of 'th~ L~I~
lh~ purpose of the pTesen~ Law shall be to regulate relations portainin9 to the preparation for snd holding of the ~]~ction5 of the Presid~nt of Mongolia.
Article 2. Legislation on presidential elections
The legislation on presidential electIons shall consist of the Constitution of Mongolia_ the present Law ~nd other legislative acts issued in accordance with them.
Article 3. Basic election principles
1. Presidential "elections") shall be Article 31. pal"sgTaph

1. Th~ politicEd p;lrties which hav'1 soats in the St-ote Great Khural shall individually "r jointly nominate .. candidate for President in l1ccordance with Article 31, paragraph 2 of the constitution of Mongolia.
2. A person ~hall not be renominated for the same elections.

1. Elections shall be administered by election committee~ at the levels of state administrative and torritori~l units as well as towns, villages and districts therein .
