TRAVEL CAMP RULESPlease help us create an environment worthy
of your visit by following these Travel Camp rules:
• Place garbage in the dumpster.• Do not dispose of gray water (dishwater,
etc.) on the ground.• Only charcoal fires in barbecue grills — no
wood fires. All wood fires must be in an above-ground fire pit (with lid) or chiminea. Tiki torches are permitted.
• No firearms or fireworks allowed in the Travel Camp.
• Washing or maintenance/repair of vehicles is not allowed.
• Alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited in the camp’s buildings and on roadways.
• The sponsor is responsible for the control and behavior of his/her children.
• Do not leave children under 12 years of age unattended.
• Swimming is only authorized at Shoreline Park when supervised by MWR lifeguards Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
• The Travel Camp speed limit is 5 mph for the safety of all patrons.
• Many campers retire early; please keep ra-dios, televisions and conversations at a low level from 10 p.m.–7 a.m. (quiet hours).
• Only one RV and two operational auto-mobiles per campsite. All additional camp-ers, cars, boats, cargo/car trailers, etc. must park in the paid storage areas.
• Two Commons Areas are available 5:30 a.m.–10 p.m. for Travel Camp guest convenience.
• A $100 clean-up fee will be assessed to the customer’s household account for sites left unclean or damaged.
• Camp Hosts are available during non-duty operational hours of the Northwest Adven-ture Center.
Pets and Wild AnimalsThe Travel Camp’s native residents, such as
raccoons, squirrels, rabbits and chipmunks offer a unique environment. Please do not feed these animals or encourage them into your camping site. The Travel Camp welcomes your pets, but we ask you to follow these simple guidelines.
• There is a limit of two pets per campsite.• Please be sure your pet stays within your

• Owners are responsible to ensure that pet droppings are disposed of in a trash recep-tacle. Failure to clean up pet(s) waste will results in a $50 fee.
• Pets cannot be left outside unattended when you leave the camp/cabins.
• Staff may impound or remove any stray or unattended animals at the owner’s expense.
• No pets inside the cabins or on porch areas.
Wireless InternetWiFi is available in Commons #2; site name
is “Free Escapes.”
Length of StayOct. 1–April 30 (Winter): Patrons may stay
up to 28 days with one extension. May 1–Sept. 30 (Summer): Patrons may stay up to 14 days with one 14-day extension during the entire summer season.
Fee PolicyFees are accepted in the office from
9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Fees are paid on a day-by-day or weekly basis in advance. Check-in is at noon, and check-out is at 11 a.m. Patrons are requested to notify the office at time of check-out. Campers can contact camp host after business hours. A maximum stay of three days is allowed and a daily fee of $5 is charged.
Reservation PolicyReservations are accepted up to one year in
advance. The total balance is due at the time of reservation. Cancellations or changes must be made 30 days prior to the day of check-in to receive a full refund. From the 30-day mark, up to seven days prior to check-in, a 75% refund will be granted. Cancellations made within seven days prior to the day of check-in will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be made due to inclement weather. At the time of registration, patron will provide vehicle license plate information.
LiabilityThe facilities of the Travel Camp are solely
for the convenience of guests. All persons using them do so at their own risk. The management or owners will not be responsible for accidents, injuries or loss of property by fire, theft, wind, flood or any act of God that is beyond our control. Violation of any law or ordinance of county or state will result in eviction. Sorry, no refunds.CA
