POLLING BOOTH SURVEY

A voting booth or polling booth is a room or cabin in a polling station where voters are able to

caste their votes in private to protect the secrecy of the ballot. Commonly the entrance to the

voting booth is a retractable curtain. Usually access to the voting booth is restricted to a single

person, with exceptions for voters requiring assistance.

Commonly voting machines use either a voting booth or some other form of privacy cover to

obscure the voting screen from the view of others.

Polling booth is conducted with a homogenous group of about 8-10 individuals. Members of the

group are separated from each other in a polling booth environment created by sheets or saris

hung on ropes or cardboards. We may also use a big hall where the participants

can sit away from each other facing a wall to get enough privacy.
