A-series features in detail CCM system: 3 functions in one mower

The WOLF-Garten electric lawn mowers of the A-Series (A 400 E, A 370 E, A 340 E) are equipped with the CCM function and therefore provide multiple benefits. All models incorporate several work-modes that would otherwise require three indi-vidual tools: one for lawn mowing, a second for the collection of grass cuttings and a third for mulching, which provides an optimal nutrient supply to your lawn. One turn of the selection knob changes the multi-functional mower from one mode to another. You can mow with or without a collectior bag or use the mulch mode to put the finely shredded cuttings back onto the lawn. The abbreviation “CCM” refers to the functions CUT, COLLECT and MULCH.

Which function does what?

1. CUTTING FUNCTION:The fastest way to cut your lawn. Recommended for natural grass areas with relatively high grass that need less frequent mowing. The grass is cut and spreaded back to the lawn through the chute and rear deflector. One side-effect is that the grass cuttings do not always end up where you want them to – sidewalks and driveways may pick up some of the grass. In this case, the WOLF-Garten range offers multiple tools, that can help you with the grass removal.

2. COLLECTING FUNCTION:Ideal when there is little time available for lawn mowing. The collecting function picks up all the grass and leaf cuttings, catching them in the easily accessible collector bag. This way, daylight and moisture, which are needed for a healthy growth, can reach the lawn without obstructions. After being cut, the collected cuttings can conveniently be disposed of in a com-poster or in a garden-waste container.

3. MULCH FUNCTION:Optimal for well-maintained gardens in which the lawn is mowed at least twice a week during the main season. The cuttings are so finely cut, that they drop back down onto the sward. It is here where they are resorbed by the soil as biologi-cally valuable green fertiliser.

The Advanced Cut and Collect System ACCThe electric lawn mowers A 400 E, A 370 E and A 340 E of the A-series are equipped with the new ACC System which works just like a ventilator and creates a suction air flow resulting in:

1) The grass blades being raised for a better cutting (blue arrows), creating beautiful even cutting patterns.

2) An optimised clippings transport and filling of the collector bag (green arrows).

With the ACC system better cutting and bagging results can be achieved. It prevents clogging and provides an optimal filling degree of the collector bag. Less emptying of the collector bag is therefore necessary.

The S-series: For price-conscious pragmatistsThe typical lawnmower for the small to medium urban garden of up to 350 m². For gardeners who need a reliable machine that simply works and doesn’t cost a for-tune – so there’s enough money left over for other hobbies.

The electric mowers of the S-series have everything a lawn-mower requires. They are robust, reliable and functional, particularly when handling. The cutting height can be set at three different levels and the stable collector bag can be easily attached and detached. Depending on how large your lawn is, you can select the smaller 32cm model, or the wider one, with a 38cm cutting width and a larger collector bag.
