Electric cars are good for the environment and good for your wallet. While gas prices may fluctuate, electricity remains a great value. With a charger at home, you can leave every morning with a full tank.
ELECTRIC VEHICLES
Limit of one rebate per household.
ELECTRIC VEHICLES - RESIDENTIAL INCENTIVE
ELECTRIC VEHICLES - COMMERCIAL INCENTIVE
Rebates are now available for commercial electric vehicle
chargers and electric vehicles.
Level II Chargers $1,000 each
Electric Vehicle/Plug-in Hybrids $250 each
• The primary charging location of the vehicle must be
located at the address provided as the business address
of the member served by Linn County REC.
• This rebate is for commercial account members of Linn
County REC only.
• New, purchased Level II Chargers only (240/208 volt).
• Chargers must be installed at the address provided as
the business address served by Linn County REC.
• No more than five vehicles and Level II Chargers per
location.
• Rebate will not exceed 50 percent of the installed cost.
• This rebate is for residential members of Linn County REC
only and limited to one charger per home.
• The rebate is for a Level II charger requiring a 240/208
volt input supply.
• The primary charging location of the vehicle must be
located at the address provided as the home address of
the member served by Linn County REC.
• It is recommended that a qualified electrican complete
the installation and verify the panel is large enough to
accomodate the charger.
• The rebate equals 50 percent of the installed cost up to
$500.
Please make sure to program your vehicle so it will not charge
during the peak usage period between 4 and 9 p.m. whenever
possible. This will help keep costs down for members of Linn
County REC.
