EE679 - Advanced Preventive Predictive Maintenance of Substation equipment of 33KV and 132KV (13 - 17 May 2018, Dubai)

Course Description

Transmission lines and sub-stations play an important role in the electrical power systems and exercise a vital influence on the re-liability of services. Transmission lines are in continuous opera-tion, therefore it is important to have a good design with perfect construction. It should facilitate easy maintenance without or with minimum interruptions. They require high flexibility to cope up with already existing control systems, available space and limited downtime. Working engineers in the field should know the constructional features, maintenance and routine testing of the transmission lines. This course focused on this vital aspect. This course will help the working engineers to work with confi-dence to ensure continuous supply with complete reliability by minimizing interruptions.

Course Outline

To understand the complete variety of sub-station design, maintenance and line construction and maintenanceTo learn the technical requirements , configuration philoso-phies, design practices and work processesTo provide an introduction to concerned electrical engineers as well as other engineers related to sub-stations and trans-mission lines for construction and maintenance work
