ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING Students Achievements: Students have published papers in IEEE, National and International Journals. Many Students have qualified GATE 2016 exam. Students have qualified in MBA entrance exam. Our Students work at : ADIT Electrical Engineering students have got placement in Alstom, Adani Power, Rotomag, TCS, SriRam Group, Students secured Highest SPI and CPI in top 10 in GTU 2015 exams. Many students participated in International and National Level Events. Students’ Projects: •Students have made a project on “Solar Powered Peltier Effect Based COOLER/CHILLER/WARMER/DRYER Along With Single Axis Sun Tracking System”. iGate, L&T, ABB, Anupam, Elecon and many more companies… •Students made a project on “Quad Copter”. •Students made a project on “Escalator Control •Prototype CNC Milling Machine. •Solar Powered Air Cooler With Dual Axis Sun Tracking System •Students made a project on “ Bottle Filling and Mixing of Liquids”. •Department is equipped with full fledged laboratories Infrastructure Available: Total number of Labs in the Department: 07 State of the Art Laboratories: 02 •Department is equipped with full-fledged laboratories, having equipment worth over 1.4 Corer. •The department has Simulation lab having software namely PSCAD, Mi-POWER, MATLAB, PSIM, PSPICE and Lab View, etc. Research projects/ consultancy: •Department had received DST, GUJCOST and MODROBS grants for Research & Development work and successfully completed all projects. Sports and cultural achievements: •Student take part in inter zonal competition organized by GTU and had received Gold medal in 400 m free style swimming Gold medal in in 400 m free style swimming, Gold medal in 4X100m free style swimming & Bronze medal in 100m butterfly swimming. •Student had secured 1 st position in wrestling on 22 th Dec 2015 at ADIT.
