MKK specializes in high performance building design and has been a leader in MEP engineering design and consulting for over 55 years. We are looking for high-performing candidates who are interested in furthering their career through leading the team, managing the business, or becoming a subject-matter expert.About this roleYou will be contributing to the successful completion of projects by utilizing engineering design resources to ensure that assigned projects are completed in a timely and technically accurate manner.The essential accountabilities of this position include (but are not limited to):

• Ensuring technical aspects of electrical design are accurately completed within project timelines.• Establishing an electrical design approach to ensure that owner/client requirements are achieved on each project.• Communicating with project team and clients and resolving issues in a timely manner.• Checking own work and task work completed by Design Engineers prior to higher level review.• Planning and calculating personal workload projections to achieve weekly chargeability requirements and facilitate efficient

project task scheduling.• Encouraging collaboration and effectively utilizing each team member to their fullest potential.• Developing and maintaining successful client relationships.• Assisting with preparing project fees, proposals and interviews.

RequirementsYou should have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Electrical Engineering required.• 4+ years’ related job experience required; 8+ years’ related industry experience required.• PE required; LEED or High-Performance Building Design Professional (HBDP) preferred.• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD and COMCheck required.• Valid driver’s license and driving record insurable by our insurance carrier required.• Ability to travel unassisted out-of-town and overnight for up to 25% of the time.
