Cleaning Instructions May wash the textile sleeve if needed. High-level disinfectant.

The signal conditioning module may be cleaned with a non-corrosive hospital approved disinfectant. The effort belt

sensors can be soaked for a short period of time or wiped with a disin-

fecting cloth.

Outer surfaces may be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened with a small amount of water, isopropyl alcohol, or other non-corrosive hospital-approved disinfectant. Do not immerse or allow liquid to enter

the case.

To clean electrodes, use warm soapy water and rub gently with gloved fingers or cotton swab. Dry with soft cotton cloth and use alcohol for usual cleaning. Use ethylene oxide gas or invert soap, if disinfec-tion (or sterilization) is necessary. Do not clean the electrode with hot water or chloric bleaching agent. Do not sterilize the electrode by autoclaving, cresol,

or glutaraldehyde.

Use a cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol 70%, a 10% aqueous solution of sodium

hypochlorite (bleach), a 2% glutaraldehyde solution, ammonia, mild soap, or disinfectant spray cleaner such as Steris Coverage Spray

HB. Wipe down with a clean water-dampened cloth to rinse and dry before use. Don’t im-

merse or sterilize the LoFlo CO2 module.

Wipe the sensor head and the cable gently with a soft cloth moistened with 70% al-

cohol. To disinfect the monitor exterior and touch screen, wipe the surfaces using either 70% isopropyl alcohol, 70% ethanol, or 4%

Diversol BX solution, dissolved in water, on a paper towel or tissue.
