What do you need to know?

Dude Shopping has an extremely active, and loyal following. Our audience is interested in one thing: spending money on new, cool products.

• We receive a massive amount of requests to feature products. It may take persistence and creativity to get our attention.

• Not all featured products will perform as well as other products featured on the site.

• Not all products are accepted in our strive to find the coolest things. It can take several months for an accepted product to be featured on Dude Shopping.

• Chances are you won’t have any time to prepare for the massive amount of shoppers we’ll drive to your store/web page, so prep your bandwidth accordingly.

How do I become featured on Dude Shopping?

It really comes down to the type of relationships that you form – like with normal people. Make it easy for us to help you. Use press and promote stories (we like this kind of thing). So many people think it’s a lottery that you have to win, but it’s not. It’s more about persistence and wanting to form a relationship from the get-go.

Note: Not all products submitted will be considered for “featured product” placement. Because Dude Shopping has been able to build such a strong relationship with our audience, we’re highly committed to only featuring unique, cool products that are highly revered and/or hard to find anywhere else.

What types of products does Dude Shopping not accept or promote?

DudeShopping does not promote products or creative materials that:

• Contain hateful, obscene, profane, libelous, defamatory or slanderous content.

• Contain adult content, personals/dating services or sexual references.

• Promote gambling or any illegal activities.

• Mislead the users, such as with fake products or misrepresentation of real products.

• Do not fit the visual style of the content area in which they are displayed.

If we accept the product or service to be advertised on DudeShopping.com – our designers will work with you and your company to create a compelling and visually stunning advertisement for your product or service.

You may need to provide high resolution product photography if the advertisement does not include an advertisement specific photo-shoot.

Will I receive metrics on my advertisement?

Yes. Our team can provide the following metrics for your ad placement; Page impressions, Unique Views, Engagement Rate, Clicks, Custom tracking, and Conversions*.

*If the URL for your advertisement is a product or service available at one of our approved affiliate programs (i.e. Amazon) we can provide sales conversion metrics.

How are submissions accepted?

Submissions are accepted based on our taste, as well as our audience. Our audience loves cool and unique products, and so do we. If we believe in your product, we will advertise it with you. It’s that simple.

Note: Not all advertisements will be accepted. We are committed to only featuring unique, cool products that are highly revered and/or hard to find anywhere else.

If accepted to run an ad on Dude Shopping,who designs the advertisement?

All of the product advertisements that live on the Dude Shopping website are created by the design firm Arms & Anchors LLC out of Portland, OR.

May we use our own photographers or copywriters for the advertisement?

Yes. The recommended photographers and copywriters will work with our staff, as well as Arms & Anchors to create a compelling advertisement as a team. We love design teamwork.

What if I am not satisfied with the advertisement placement, metrics or design?

The placement of the advertisement depends on your price point. Please refer to the advertising rates before signing up so that you know what type of placement you are buying.

Ad performance is dependent on a number of factors, and we cannot guarantee the performance of your individual advertisement.

As for design, we trust Arms & Anchors. We believe they aim to please every client (after all, we are one of them). What we are getting at here, is they will take care of you to be sure that you are happy. However, if you are dissatisfied with their services please refer all questions, concerns, and claims to their customer support. Arms & Anchors is a separate entity and all business transactions that you do with them should be treated as such.

Can I advertise more than one product or service?

We accept each product and service advertisement individually. To run more than one ad at a time with us, you will need to submit your second product or service advertisement for approval separately.

DUDE SHOPPING partners with companies to run giveaways once a month. Our followers enjoy being rewarded for their interests and participation.



We believe in rewarding our audience. This is why we run at least one giveaway a month with products that we believe in.

At Dude Shopping, we cater to dudes of all ages and interests. It’s our belief that in partnering with us, we both benefit.

You will benefit as a result of our relentless promotion of the giveaway and your product. Generally speaking, people like free stuff. For the duration of the giveaway, we’ll heavily promote your product to our audience and followers via every channel we have available to us.

Giveaway products may be any size and do not need to be physical objects. Giveaway products can include, but are not limited to; items, objects, tools, gear, apparel, transportation vehicles, hotel stays, concerts, sporting events, consumables, and the list goes on.

When do you mail Dude Shopping the giveaway product?

All giveaway products must be shipped to Dude Shopping before the giveaway starts. Tracking numbers for this shipment must be provided. The product does not need to arrive for the giveaway to begin.

What platform is used to run the giveaway?

All giveaways run through the Rafflecopter platform and are designed in the Dude Shopping branded template. For more details on the Rafflecopter platform, giveaway entries, and our privacy policy–please email us at [email protected]

How long do giveaways run?

All giveaways run on a 30 day time-line. At the end of 30 days, a winner is chosen.

Once a winner is selected, how do they obtain the product from us?

After a winner is determined, the winner is contacted via email and/or social media to provide a mailing address. Dude Shopping ships the product once the address has been supplied.

What happens if the winner does not provide the necessary mailing information?

If the winner does not supply an address within 10 business days of being contacted - a new winner will be selected and contacted. This process continues until the product finds a new home.

How are giveaways promoted?

Dude Shopping promotes giveaways through social media, blog posts, email campaigns via MailChimp™, a banner on our homepage, and occasionally through print media & guerrilla marketing (when we feel like going big).

Is there paperwork involved with running a giveaway through Dude Shopping?

Yes, Dude Shopping provides a giveaway contract that must be signed before the product is shipped to us and we begin the giveaway. The contract ensures that there will be a product to give to the winner.

Once started, if I find a defect with my product–can I cancel my giveaway?

No. Once started, all giveaways must commence for legal reasons. If the product has been found to have a defect please contact us immediately, it must be replaced before a winner is selected.

Are giveaways tax deductible?

Yes, you can deduct the cost of promotional giveaways in your advertising expenses if you provide promotional gifts to a broad audience of potential clients or customers, and not for individually identified persons. The cost of a promotional gift distributed in this way is 100% tax deductible. We will provide the necessary proof of giveaway-related information for tax purposes.
