    %t is essential that the electrical suppl to the PURELAB Ultra is isolated before

    an items are changed or maintenance work performed!

    #he ON/OFF switch is located at the left&hand side of the unit! #he mains power 

    lead is located 'ust behind the ON /OFF switch!

    WARNING! THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED.

    #he main water suppl should be isolated and residual pressure released prior 

    to removal of an (urification (acks or carring out work on the unit!

    )witching off the electrical suppl will isolate the source of mains water 

    pressure!

    (re&treated water enters via an inlet solenoid, passes through a flow sensor and is pumped through the primarpurification pack and an intermediate water 1ualit sensor! #he water then flows through a UV chamber, a further resistivit and temperature sensor, a polishing purification pack, an ultra microfilter and final temperature and water 1ualit sensors before being dispensed or recirculated through a non&return valve back to the pump inlet!

    #he first purification pack removes most of the impurities from the water and the intermediate water 1ualit sensor then

    measures the resistivit of the water from the first pack to check when it needs to be replaced!

    (urified water flows directl through the UV chamber where it is e+posed to intense UV radiation at a wavelength of 

    8:;nm to provide continuous bacterial control!

     "n remaining ionic and organic impurities are removed b the second polishing purification pack< the ultra microfilter 

    removes bacterial impurities and particles! (roduct water resistivit and temperature are measured before dispense!

    #his operation confirms that the unit is performing within acceptable

    measuring parameters! %f the performance criteria is not achieved the unit

    will alarm to notif the operator!

    Upon muting the alarm the unit will continue to operate as normal but the

    operator should confirm that the water 1ualit is acceptable using a suitabl

    calibrated e+ternal water 1ualit meter!

    %f the fault continues to occur then contact our local )ervice epartment!

    the Night )ervice mode is not initiated then the unit will perform the
