Hello Wisconsin- Upper Michigan Key Club! You will never believe what happened. Maternal/Neo-natal Tetanus was eradicated from Cameroon yesterday! Every day it seems to me that our goal of eliminating MNT is more and more tangible. Something that I am super ex-cited for is a specific number that the Eliminate Sub-Committee has implemented for Key Club International. The Sub-Committee would like every member of Key Club to raise $5.45 each year so that we can be on the right track. Having this number is a great thing for our District. It makes me realize that every little scrap can help us reach our fundraising goal. As DCON comes closer, keep thinking about our District Fundraising goal of $25,000 and remain passionate about Eliminating MNT from the face of the earth! Yours in service, Governor Sam

Look at Thing One go! He is very excited for the up-coming District Leadership Conference in Green Bay, WI on March 1st-3rd, and he’s been saving his money to buy truffula fluffs for his Division’s tree. He wants his Division to have the biggest tree of all! Do you think he can do it? Or will your Division beat his?

DCON 2013 Okay Key Clubbers, there is only a little more than a month left before DCON! Let’s go out with a bang by reaching, and exceeding our District Fund-raising Goal of $25,000 by March 1st. We are almost there with our total being approximately $19,432.24! How will your club fundraise for the Elimi-nate Project this month?

about the MNT from people working in countries
with MNT. At the top there is a donate button, so
pick your favorite country and donate away!

Haiti is a country that MNT is not eliminated in, but they are still fundraising for it. So far, they have raised US$849,000.
The Philippines has also been fundraising for Eliminate while it is present in their country: it has raised US$46,000.

Worldwide Report Day was on January
16th, 2013. When all of the pending totals are com-
mitted, there will be US$4,545,750 added to the grand total fundraised! This will save more than
2,525,416 lives, and bring the grand total to US$27,099,323.
Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus has most recently
been eliminated from Cameroon~ That makes 29 countries that MNT is no longer a threat in!
