PUMP SYSTEMS
END SUCTION PUMP
A type of centrifugal pump that has a
casing with the suction coming in
one end and the discharge coming out
the top. An end suction water pump
would probably have the lowest initial
cost for most applications, with
reasonable efficiency. Typical
applications are for moving high
volumes of water i.e. flood mitigation,
irrigation, agricultural and industrial
applications. The pump can be designed
as mobile pump or permanent
installation; typically driven by diesel
engine or electric motor.
SELF PRIMING
END SUCTION PUMP
A "self-priming" centrifugal pump
overcomes the problem of air binding by
mixing air with water to create a fluid
with pumping properties much like those
of regular water. The pump then gets rid
of the air and moves water only, just like
a standard centrifugal pump.
This type of pump differs from a
standard centrifugal pump in that it has
a water reservoir built into the unit which
enables it to rid pump and suction line of
air by recirculating water within the
pump on priming cycle. This water
reservoir may be above the impeller or
in front of the impeller. In either case,
the "self-priming" capability of the pump
comes from the pump's ability to retain
water after the very first prime.

HYDRAULIC SUBMERSIBLE PUMP
Hydraulic Submersible Pumps are the best
choice for applications where a suction lift
pump would require more than 10m of lift.
No priming required so you don't have to
worry about silence hours or remote area
shutdowns caused by lost prime due to
vacuum leaks or mechanical failure of
priming system. Power pack unit can be
safely & conveniently located up to 100
meters from the pump for easy operation
and maintenance. This type of pump is
suitable for remote location with high
suction lift required.
ELECTRIC SUBMERSIBLE PUMP
Electric Submersible Pumps have an
impeller directly connected to a water-proof
electric motor. These pumps have multiple
configurations – vertical, horizontal, or any
angle in between, canned or enclosed. They
are quiet, low profile, and selected for easy
maintenance, where sufficient electricity is
available. The electrical submersible pump,
typically called an ESP, is an efficient and
reliable artificial-lift method for lifting
moderate to high volumes of fluids from
wellbores.
