eLumaRail is a modernized linear LED light system designed to operate at maximum lenghts maintaining lumen output consistency. The eLumaRail system initiates low drop out current regulators, to assure uniform brightness over running lengths in excess of 100 linear feet (30,480mm).

eLumaRail system outputs are available in 2400K-6500K lights modules will provide scallop free illumination. The lens mount system is configured to allow two discreet lighting

0 0view angles: 90 and 60 . This mount system is made of UV stabilized polycarbonate, assuringlong life with-out discoloration.

Construction

Mounting hardware (post or wall) is typically required up to 5' O.C., depending on the handrail alloy. eLumaRail is available in stainless steel and aluminum. All handrail component parts are engineered for quick installation. Field welding or cutting is typically not required. All parts are prefabricated to field dimensions and are assembled in the field with mechanical connection or epoxy. The LED light fixtureinside the cap rail is UL Listed for wet locations. Contact factory for specialty components and maintenance guidelines.

Guards are usually an essential for ramps, stairs or landings above 30".Heights will vary depending on the code. Commercial codes require a guard, 42" in height while residential codes only requires a guard to be 36" in height – always confirm these dimensions with your jurisdictional planning .

Handrails are located between 34" and 38" and have dimensional limitations for grasp ability. As such, if a 42" guardrail is called for on a stair or ramp, it will also require a secondary handrail at the appropriate height. A guard Cap Rail that is not used as a handrail would not have a grasp ability size limitation.

Guards also have opening limitations t o consider. The most common requirement is that no opening be large enough to allow a 4" sphere to pass. Infill's such as ecoresin panels, Archimesh, vertical pickets, glass or cable. An option is to install Hand Rail RHL into the handrail portion of a gua rd and use the light to wash the infill. LED Inc. now has the components that will permit wire routing through a handrail mounted in this fashion.

Handrails are in place tp provide guidance along walkways and stairwell commercial areas for illuminated safety and security.

SURFACE MOUNT

Weld Snap-On Cover Flange Base to selected post.

Mount the Flange Base to your surface using 3/8" bolts – supplied by others. Be sure to select fasteners appropriate

for your substrate.

Drop Cover Flange into place and snap -on. The secure connection of cover to base is provided by formed tabs

produced with precise tolerances.

EMBEDDED MOUNT

In new installations, use Post Sleeves or EZ Sleeves. To locate anchor holes for setting posts. If wire is to be routed through post, conduit and wire must be cast -in-place as well.

In the case of existing concrete surfaces, holes must be core drilled to accept the HRL Light posts.

Posts are set into place using Rockite® or Kwixset® anchor cement.

Use optional flange to cover the grout ring.
