These individuals have requested services on behalf of our clients, the CO wishes to be very clear in this matter "We will only deal directly with the client and not through a third party." Please advise the undersigned if Mr. Westholm or others attempt to arrange services for JPSU clients in the future. DESCRIPTION

Recently a Veteran couple reached out for assistance from various third parties; these third parties responded and did support this couple. I, as being a prominent "third party" in this instance spared no time in contacting the Canadian Armed Forces, Joint Personnel Support Unit, to try and resolve the issue. In response, the CO of the JPSU had this email sent out across Canada. In this situation, I would hate to think what would have happened if concerned third parties were not involved - another suicide or two was a real possibility.
