The Company
4 Corners Property Ltd is a privately owned and operated
property maintenance company based in the Dunedin CBD. It
operates from premises in Thomas Burn St, adjacent to Dunedin
Railway Station.
It has both full-time staff and on-call contractors, each with a
particular skill, matched with relevant qualifications and
experience.
The company has a strong track record in successfully helping
Dunedin property owners and managers, insurance companies
and government agencies with all types of maintenance and
building work.

Who’s Who at 4 Corners Property
4 Corners Property Ltd is run by Matt Hockley and Fiona Creagh,
and is in its 14th year of operation. Shaun Shale is in charge of
operations and will often be the voice at the end of the phone when
you call.
The company has a team of fully qualified and experienced
tradespeople that includes electricians, plumbers, painters, roofers,
plasterers and gardeners. In addition, only licensed building
practitioners are used to carry out work requiring permits.
Quotes are free and requests are dealt with quickly by our customer
care team.

High Quality Building and Renovation Work
4 Corners Property undertakes two types of building work:
renovations and refurbishments, and property maintenance.
We will work with you to design, plan and build your new kitchen,
bathroom (or any other room) or roof, garage or shed so the
finished result meets your expectations and your budget. We can
also work with other building professionals – architects, joiners etc
– so the whole project is completed on time and within budget.
We have licensed building practitioners on our team who are both
skilled and experienced.

Great-Looking Walls Start at 4 Corners
At 4 Corners Property we can help you complete those painting
jobs you have been putting off.
From a cupboard door to a multi-storey building, our experienced
painters are primed to transform any surface – indoors or out.
We can do all the preparatory work (such as house washing,
water-blasting, washing walls, sanding, stripping wallpaper,
plastering, sealing and priming) and organise scaffolding if
required. Plus, we are experienced at airless spraying, roof and fence
painting, and touch-ups.

because we don’t have the time or the know-how. Or, sometimes

We will wash your house or paths, fix broken electrical fittings or
fit new ones, solve plumbing problems, repair windows, install

Want a Garden That Is Both Lush and
Productive?
We offer a comprehensive range of gardening, landscaping and
lawn mowing services, from simple (weeding) to sophisticated
(garden design).
If it’s time for a make-over of your garden we can help. From site
planning to hard and soft landscaping, and plant selection, we
can do it all.
We offer a regular maintenance service (that includes lawn
mowing) and also do one-off jobs, like designing a floral border,
putting in a vegie garden or clearing a section.

We Cover the Technical Jobs, Too!
Our versatility extends to supplying plumbing and electrical
services, so if you have an extension or refurbishment under way,
we can carry out all the necessary work. This makes the job less
complicated and ensures there are no crossed wires!
If we are doing a kitchen makeover, for instance, we can also
connect the oven, do the plumbing for the sink and dishwasher,
sort out the gas supply for the stove-top, install the lighting and put
in new plugs. Or, we can come and do a one-off job – be it updating
your fuse box, connecting a new appliance or plumbing in a vanity
unit. From changing a tap to rewiring your entire house, we can
take care of it all.

over, 4 Corners Property knows exactly what to do. We are well
versed in taking care of rental properties from clean-up duties to
all aspects of maintenance. Whether it is a spring clean and rubbish

get it done double-quick so you can get tenants back in without
delay.

on an agency when we find the right product.

We Don’t Cut Corners on Safety! At 4 Corners, we take workplace safety very seriously. For three reasons.
First, we absolutely will not risk the safety of our clients or workers. Under any circumstances.
Second, the fines for breaking the rules (regardless of whether there is an accident) are truly massive.
Third, we believe in doing what is right so we are compliant with the current Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992 and all of its amendments.
For our clients’ protection we have $10 million of public liability insurance and our workers and contractors are fully qualified or hold the relevant certificates for everything they do. It’s a small price to pay for peace of mind.

How We Work
A no-obligation quote may be requested for any job or work. We
will acknowledge your quote request within 24 hours and have a
quote to you as soon as possible after that, often the next working
day. Quotes can be requested by phone, email, via our website or
you can drop in and see us at our office at 30 Thomas Burn St.
We aim to complete standard jobs in 48 hours. Larger jobs or
projects are discussed prior to commencement. For these, we
provide a fully detailed quote so you know what the full cost will be
before we begin.
Our terms of payment are 7 days or, by arrangement, the 20th of the
month. A deposit of 30% is expected for work quoted at more than
$1000, payable before commencement. Progress payments are
agreed on larger projects.
