Manou Marzban, follows the ‘enigmatism’ movement that believes “creativity is best presented in its original perspectives directly from the mind’s eye without interpretations or adjustments onto the canvas”. Marzban, aka “Manou”, reinvents Persian symbolism from an old dynasty into pop culture icons - the artist blurs the lines of traditional portraiture infusing it with vibrant color, phosphorous paint and engaging the audience beyond the subject matter.

Exuding energy and provocation, Manou’s recent solo shows in Geneva and Stockholm have brought forth his ‘Qaj Freaks’ series to a larger international audience. Crossing genres and techniques, Manou deemed the ‘Persian Banksy’ by Le Monde and ‘engaging and intriguing’ by the Huffington Post, Manou is at the peak of his career exhibiting throughout Europe, including Berlin, Geneva, Monte Carlo, Paris and Nice.
