Emergency Response
Over the years, Henkels & McCoy responds
CONNECTIONS FOR PERFORMANCE™
A hurricane in 1938 established our emergency response credentials. A Category Three
tropical hurricane blasted Long Island and much of New England on September 21, wreaking havoc and taking 680 lives. We mobilized 400 men and trucks and began emergency tree clearance and telephone and power restoration work. This ability to respond quickly in adverse circumstances rmly established Henkels & McCoy as a key player in power restoration and utility infrastructure construction.
Our long history is replete with spec c examples of prompt, effective action in the face of the most challenging disasters. Years of experience have taught us, as only experience can, that when it comes to emergency response, one thing is clear: there is a signifcant difference between reacting and responding. Reactors operate in the moment. Responders perform through organization, communication, and lessons learned.
Henkels & McCoy responds.
