This module will present the new emergency stop switch, its key features, and general specifications. Different ordering options and customizations will be reviewed as well as typical applications where one may require an emergency stop switch.

PresenterPresentation NotesThe FF01 Series Emergency Stop Switch is brand new to the NKK line of products. With Ø16 mm bodies, this low-profile e-stop has the shortest behind panel depth in its class at 13.6mm. To reset the switch, simply pull and/or twist back into the initial position. With an IP65 rating, the innovative sliding latch mechanism maintains the OFF state of the contacts, assuring unparalleled safety and reliability. Optional accessories for the Emergency Stop Switch include a customizable nameplate and protective guard.

With a mechanical life of 100,000 operations minimum, this switch is not only durable, but reliable. Although designed for indoor use, it has excellent shock and vibration resistant properties amidst chattering due to rugged vibration or impact. In addition, the IP65 rating means the FF01 E-Stop is dust tight and protected against water jets from any direction. The insert-molded solder lug terminals contribute protection for automated processing techniques.

You may choose from two actuator sizes: 25 or 30 millimeter. Arrow legends may be added to the actuator for clear operating directions.
