EMILY HARRIS
VIST 305
VIST 106 Sugar Cube Sculpture For this assignment, we were required to create a
sculpture out of sugar cubes. I created a 12” tall sculpture of a triceratops.
VIST 106 Sculpture
This 4 foot tall sculpture was made out of a variety of materials, including insulation foam, joint compound, and paper mache.
VIST 106 Sculpture
After texturing the sculpture, I was able to apply several coats of paint.
VIST 205 Clay Model
Our first project in VIST 205 was to sculpt an abstract model out of clay that represented the theme of a group animation. My group’s theme was “dark versus light”, so I sculpted this clay model, which I then photographed under colored lighting.

We then recreated our clay model in Maya as close as possible, matching the lighting and the camera angles from the previous pictures.

VIST 205 Sculpture
This physical sculpture of a coral reef began as layers of insulation foam with paper mache on top.
Group Project: Emily Harris, Joelene Tomecek, Be Yu, Blake Adrian, Dani Ostrowski, Jacy Johnson, and Steven Simon.
VIST 205 Sculpture
My group and I composited the finished model in an underwater scene from a group animation to combine the physical model with CG.

ARTS 212 Self Portrait
This charcoal self portrait was created for Life Drawing, starting from a photograph.
VIST 284 Animation
This fish bowl and its contents were created in Maya as the scene of my 10 second animation.
