Shop
• One of the first things we had to do was more in preparation for the project than anything else. It was to buy supplies for the room and for what we would be creating.
• We shopped at places like Walmart, JoAnn Fabric, Target, and so on for entertainment for the children.
Decorate• The next job was to go into the classroom every
day and decorate it for the upcoming events. This took the most time, as it involved taking down decorations from the last party and putting up new ones with each new theme, as well as creating individual goody bags for each preschooler to take home.
• We decorated for three main parties, a Hawaiian Luau, a Beach Party, and the Graduation Celebration.

Clean up • After the parties for the preschoolers were over,
the next job was to clean up and organize the classroom for the group of new kids next year.
• This included wiping down the tables, packing up the furniture, taking measurements of the entire room for future reference, and deconstructing and reconstructing the teacher’s storage unit. This is the before image:

Artwork • And finally, we were asked to create artwork for
the room that the preschoolers might enjoy, to be used in the following years.
• This included painting old dollhouses, creating example posters for assignments, and creating drawings to be displayed.

And an example poster for a nutrition lesson.
That’s it.
