Shadowed server, audio, tech director, and graphic designerOpen to all SMU journalism students, this news show is produced every weekday morning and is broadcast on all TVs in the journalism school as well as online. PaperCity Magazine (August 27, 2012 - November 30,2012) Intern Dallas, TexasHad photos published in November 2012 issue, managed social media, wrote copy pertaining to local social events, edited magazine pages, managed merchandise inventory for photo shoots, made contact with stores to acquire merchandise for photo shoots, corresponded with PR reps who wanted their events covered by PaperCity, and attended events that PaperCity was covering.

HerCampus SMU (August 2011 - May 2012)General writer with specialization in social events HerCampus is an online magazine for college women that covers everything from fashion and beauty tips to relationship advice and job interview pointers.Wrote and published over 10 articles for HerCampus SMU, was able to fine tune interviewing skills, write feature stories, and use social media to promote HerCampus SMU articles (www.hercampus.com/smu).

Self-Employed Nanny (July 2011 - May 2012)Helped the Flegle family every weekday, by picking their two children up from school, taking them to after school activities, helping them with homework, and supervising them until their parents came home.

Awards: Tabloid-Trash Tony (June 2012)Belo Distinguished Chair and SMU Professor, Tony Pederson, awards one of his students from the SMU-In London Communication Program for telling the best tabloid story about their lives. The headline has to be well written, the story has to be well told, and receives the highest number of votes from fellow classmates.
