Unique warning system via sms, phone and emailIn case your motion sensor, door contact or smoke detector goes off, you will receive directly a notification via sms, phone or email. Why camera surveillance?With the Eminent surveillance cameras you can keep and eye on your belongings. Feel comfortable when you leave your home knowing that you have access to the live video images of your installed cameras at any time anywhere. Be able to monitor your store or office, even when you’re away. This is the reason for Eminent to develop these reliable and user-friendly camera surveillance systems.
What is camera surveillance by Eminent?Eminent offers digital video recorders and cameras that watch over your home, store or office. Watch live video images via your monitor, computer or mobile phone. The digital video recorder stores images on a preset time schedule or when motion is detected.
How does it work?Use the IR remote control or mouse to control your digital video recorder. It is up to you to decide how many surveillance cameras you want to install, the surveillance kit allows a maximum of eight installed cameras (type EM6015). You can watch and search for the recorded images on your monitor. Recorded images can also be watched via the computer in your home network or anywhere in the world via a secured website on the Internet or via your mobile phone.
Create video evidenceIn case of a burglary the digital video recorder starts recording video images. Copy these stored images from your recorder to a USB memory stick. The images can be used as evidence and help the police to identify the burglar.
Sent email in case of an alarm notificationYou receive an email* as soon as one of your installed cameras detects motion. This means that you will be notified directly when something is happening in your building. On top of that, motion detection will also activate a loud siren to discourage offenders. Even if the burglar leaves the building right away, your recorder has already stored the images.

What should I consider when comparing media players?Today more and more households have a large collection of digital photos, music and movies. All these files are stored on a PC, notebook, USB stick or external hard disk. Would it not be easier if you could play these files on your television just from one central place? Eminent therefore offers various solutions to enjoy all your digital files with family and friends. Connect an Eminent media player to your TV for the ultimate cinema experience in your home.

Which files to support?The first choice is, which files your player needs to support. Simple players support so-called “standard definition” material. This is material up to DVD quality. Many players also support MPEG2, MPEG4 and DviX. The EM7066 and EM7067 are standard products that meet these specifications.
But if you want to watch movies in a higher quality then choose a player that plays “high definition “ material plays. Make sure they support H.264, MKV and Blu-Ray ISO. These “high definition” players retrieve the best image quality. Internet offers many movie trailers in H.264 format. The EM7075 and EM7080 are players that meet the highest standards.
If ‘full HD 1080p’ is mentioned on the packaging, it doesn’t automatically mean that the media player supports H.264 files.
Built-in hard disk?A built-in hard disk offers the advantage to play movies directly. A disadvantage is that the device is larger and less easily to take to a different location. Players without a hard disk are ideal for fast connecting of an external hard disk. Most players with a built-in hard disk provide this functionality as well.
network connection?A network connection is useful when you are “streaming”. This means that you can play films or other files that are stored on a notebook, PC or dedicated network hard disk (NAS) on your TV via the media player. With the EM7075 and EM7080 you download directly Torrents and Usenet files from the Internet to the
hard disk without having your computer turned on. Enjoy more of media portal functionality such as YouTube.
DTS and AC3 soundConnect your media player to your TV and/or your home entertainment set. You can use an optical cable to do this. Many films have DTS or AC3 for the ultimate cinema sound. If you want to benefit the best sound on your TV then make sure that your player also supports “downmix”. The sound is
hereby played through the speakers of your TV. If your player doesn’t support this “downmix” you have to connect it to your home entertainment set. Please note that your set should be able to decode DTS.

How to calculate the wattage of your notebook
To see if the universal charger is suitable for your netbook or notebook, you can calculate the wattage of your laptop.
First, check your current charger or check the properties of your notebook.
Then multiply the volts by the amperage to calculate the total watts needed. For example, if your current charger has an output of 15V 5A, you need an adapter with 75 watts (15V x 5A) at minimum
