Translate the signs of the puzzle using the Rosicrucian

secret code of the Chrono Decoder: 1) Fire 2) Water 3) Rock 4) Wind That is the order in which you need to read the text on the snakes.

YOU WILL FIND CRYPTIC DESCRIPTIONS ON THE SNAKES:

I don’t like water, wind helps me – refers to fire. I have three forms – refers to water: fluid (water), gas (vapour) and solid (ice).

I can break bones – refers to stone. You can’t see me, but you can feel me – refers to wind.

As you can see in the illustration of the three-piece puzzle, you need to wrap each

snake four times around, for example, your finger or a pencil and Roman numbers

will appear. In the right order, this reveals code 1.

STUDY THE FOUR RINGS; THERE ARE SIX DIFFERENT SYMBOLS ON EACH FRONT AND THERE ARE CLUES ON THE BACK, THESE ARE THE STEPS:1) Only four of the six gods guard the secret you are looking for.2) In which order do the gods belong? Which months do the four gods go with? 3) Complete all the steps. Look in the Northern direction for the answer.4) In order to read the code, the order of the rings is from big to small. This is also the correct sequence of the steps that you must go through.

You will find the Maya calendar portraying gods and months on the floor of the game board.

Decipher the names of all of the gods (again using the Rosicrucian secret code of the Chrono

Decoder). It says: rock, wind, plant, fire, water, animal. 1) FIGURE OUT WHICH 4 OF THE 6 GODS YOU NEED

On day 3 of the diary and with the following hint on the wall:

“They burned monkeys wrapped in leaves on altars made of stone”.

Or in other words: fire, animal, plant, stone. 2) FIGURE OUT THE RIGHT ORDER OF THE GODS/COLUMNS

By making the sums in the diagram on the back of the second largest ring. The months are

shown in small circles and stripes on the outer ring of the Maya calendar.

1 small circle = month 1, 4 small circles = month 4, one stripe = month 5, etc.

The calender therefore has 18 months. Complete the diagram on the back of one of the

circles: Column 1: 1+4+2=7, Column 2: 3+2+8=13, Column 3: 5+1+10=16, Column 4: 1+1+2=4

Column 1: Month 7, God of Fire. Column 2: Month 13, God of Animals. Column 3: Month 16, God of Stones. Column 4: Month 4, God of Plants.

Figure out that you need to line up the signs on the rings

with the right columns. Start with the biggest one.

- Place the large ring with the sign that is shown on top of

column 7 towards that column. - Place the second largest ring with the sign that is shown on top of

column 13 towards that column. - Place the second smallest ring with the sign that is shown on top of

column 16 towards that column. - Place the smallest ring with the sign that is shown on top of

column 4 towards that column. 3) FIGURE OUT WHICH DIRECTION IS NORTH:

- Arrow on mask in the centre on the ground points north.

- Two of the columns have 2 small triangles that point north.

- The sun rises in the east and sets in the west, which is also evident

from the symbols on the walls.

4) FIND THE CODE.

Pay special attention to the location of the dots. You must use these for the keys.

Now look north and place the keys with these dots in the Chrono Decoder.

You will find a clue on the wall of the temple.

The names of all the gods are in the Mayan Calendar on the floor.

Another breakthrough, the calendar on the outer ring on the floor has 18 months.

Together, hints 3, 4, 5 and 6 reveal the days with the correct columns: day 4 is column 4, day 7 is column 7, day 13 is column 13 and day 16 is column 16.

Part 3: open the exit door.PUT THE PUZZLE TOGETHER SO THAT YOU CAN SEE THE IMAGE: A cloud and a lot of raindrops and small men who are (presumably) doing a rain dance. You also see pots filled with water. If you turn the completed puzzle around, you will see 6 masks, one of which is completely enclosed; that is the raindrop. You could think of the whole as a flower that gives water. If you study the mouth on the mask of the drop, then you will see the shape of the bottom of the correct key. This same shape can be found in the image on the back, in the water in the pots and on the legs of the small men.

Furthermore there are signs that you are to use 4 keys that are identical: there are four pots with water, four rows of drops, four rain dance men and hint 8 contains waterrrr…. with four R’s and four dots.
