Employee Involvement Employee involvement is creating an environment in which
people have an impact on decisions and actions that affect their
jobs.
Employee involvement is not the goal nor is it a tool, as
practiced in many organizations. Rather, it is a management
and leadership philosophy about how people are most enabled
to contribute to continuous improvement and the ongoing
success of their work organization.

so that they can take the opportunities available to them for greater
responsibility. Jobs are so structured that individuals can plan execute
and evaluate a complete operation in the total process personally.

Advantages of empowerment
Every in the organization is valued and encouraged to make a personal
contribution
Individuals are constantly aware ,not only of what they are seeking to achieve
but also why they are seeking to achieve it and how it fits with the wider corporate
goals
The culture is likely to be cooperative and purposeful rather than blame
oriented.
