Bowel care

Pre-requisite: Medication policy and practice

Often scheduled same day as Mealtime assistance

All Adult Client Services employees who are required to administer suppositories and/or enemas as part of their duties (unless evidence of RPL)

Certificate III or Certificate IV in Disability All permanent Adult Client Services employees who have reached their qualifying period. (Certificate III in Disability minimum qualification required)

Documentation All Adult Client Services employees who are required to make official client notes/records (unless evidence of RPL)

First aid certificate: Fastrack All Adult Client Services employees who are required to hold a current first aid certificate as part of their duties

Speak out Any employee who is required to deliver training or presentations. It is a prerequisite for employees who deliver CPA Orientation or Induction activities.
